1. About this website

This website is operated by Základní organizace Českého zahrádkářského svazu Sosnová, IČO 70941220, registered office Pod Krejcárkem 975/2, 130 00 Praha 3, Czechia. The site is provided free of charge for informational and educational purposes. By accessing it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Non-commercial use

Our organisation is a non-profit entity. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of goods or services for sale, and we do not process payments, subscriptions or donations through this site. Programme participation is funded by member contributions, voluntary effort and public benefit grants. Content may be used freely for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes with attribution; systematic commercial reuse requires our written permission.

3. Community participation rules

• Treat every member, volunteer, visitor and neighbour with respect. Discrimination, harassment and abusive behaviour are grounds for exclusion from activities.
• Follow the ecological standards of the organisation: no synthetic pesticides or herbicides on shared plots, responsible water use, and correct separation of green and other waste.
• Respect shared infrastructure. Tools borrowed from common storage must be cleaned and returned; damage should be reported to a board member.
• Children participate under the supervision of a parent, guardian or accompanying teacher at all times.
• Follow instructions given by volunteer coordinators during working days, especially regarding tools, ladders, machinery and site access.
• Photography during activities is permitted for personal use; publication of identifiable images of other participants requires their consent.

4. Membership and volunteering

Membership is voluntary, open to individuals who accept the statutes of the Czech Gardening Association (Český zahrádkářský svaz)and these guidelines, and confirmed by the board. Volunteers act on their own responsibility and are asked to declare any health limitation relevant to physical garden work. Repeated breaches of these rules may lead to suspension of participation or, following a board decision, termination of membership.

5. Intellectual property notice

The organisation's name, texts, guides, layouts and graphic elements on this site are the intellectual property of Základní organizace Českého zahrádkářského svazu Sosnová or are used with permission. The names and emblems of the Czech Gardening Association (Český zahrádkářský svaz) remain the property of that association. You may quote short extracts with a clear reference to this website; reproduction of complete guides, or use of our name or emblem in a way that suggests endorsement, requires prior written consent.

6. Accuracy and horticultural advice

Gardening guidance published here reflects the practical experience of our members and is offered in good faith for general information. Growing conditions, soil, climate and plant health vary; we cannot guarantee a particular result and accept no liability for loss arising from the application of general advice. For plant protection, legal or safety matters, consult the relevant professional or public authority.
