Základní organizace Českého zahrádkářského svazu Sosnová is a branch organisation of the Czech Gardening Association, run by volunteers and accountable to its members and to the public it serves.

Governance & legal standing
Základní organizace Českého zahrádkářského svazu Sosnová operates as a registered branch organisation (základní organizace) of the Czech Gardening Association (Český zahrádkářský svaz), the national umbrella body for allotment holders and amateur gardeners in the Czech Republic. Our affiliation means we adopt the association's statutes, ethical standards and horticultural guidance, while retaining local responsibility for our own programmes, membership and finances.
The organisation is governed by a democratically elected board of volunteers. Board members are chosen at the general members' meeting, serve fixed terms without remuneration, and are required to report on activities, budgets and outcomes to the membership. Decisions on programmes, expenditure and cooperation agreements are taken collectively, recorded in minutes, and made available to members on request.
We are committed to full financial and operational transparency. Income consists of member contributions, voluntary donations, and public benefit grants; expenditure is limited to programme delivery, tools and materials, educational activities, and the upkeep of shared green space. No part of our income is distributed as profit to any member, officer or third party.
